Gumbo for the Soul series anthologies publishes self-help books focused on humanitarian issues like education, wellness, adoption and causes. People share their real life, often tragic stories about circumstances that could happen to anyone, and offer hope on how they persevered. Each book provides a resource section listing organizations that offer community outreach on the subject. Through Gumbo for the Soul Literacy Program we expand our community outreach offering workshops and by adopting a non-profit organization that aligns with each books’ subject with which to donate a percentage of the proceeds, donate books, and make appearances to assist in fundraising, and community service.
