In the beginning: Gumbo for the Soul began as a savory blend of anthologies focusing on humanitarian issues effecting communities worldwide. Addressing health, education, wellness and spirituality while offering philanthropy with inspirational, and informative publications. The subjects we address can't be discussed enough. Statistics convey too many disparities in this highly advanced and technologically driven world of failing, and all too often relied upon, broken systems.

The media report's one thing, the look in a person's eyes, and the writing on the wall, paints a completely different view. We are in a world that cries for help. As part of our mission, we will continue to spark change, heighten awareness, and offer resources for resolutions about the issues we outline. Gumbo for the Soul Publications has been able to give away hundreds of books since our inception through Gumbo for the Soul Literacy Program.
